NOTE: I'm just writing this for fun so it won't be as good as usual
A white tom with black patches sat upon the living room table, licking his small white paw and flicking his ever twitching tail. The tom was old, very old in fact. He scanned the room with his small, squinting yellow eyes for that younger cat he had to share the house with. Suddenly, he spotted him. The bulky black tom had white paws, muzzle and chest.
"Hello Domino," the black tom meowed pleasantly.
"Leave me, Casper," Domino hissed angrily. "You have the upper home I have the lower home, we agreed it!"
There was a hint of fear in his quivering meow. Casper heard it and sensed the old tom's anxiety.
"We are brothers, Domino, do not fear me," Casper meowed peacefully.
"We will never be brothers!" hissed Domino. "Never!"
"Maybe not in blood, old tom, but in soul we shall always be united. Even in death, like poor, sweet Jasper," Casper mewed.
"How do you know of Jasper?" demanded Domino. "He died before you came here."
"And you think I don't know these things, stupid tom," Casper's peaceful meow had turned into a spiteful growl. "I know of Pinkie too."
"She was only here for a mere month!"
"Yes, I spoke with her a few times. She told me about Jasper and how...old... he was getting." Casper paused. "As are you."
"I'll fight you!" declared Domino. "I'll rip you to shreads for Jasper!"
"You can try," purred Casper.
He took a leaping bound and dragged Domino from the table without a single sound. The younger cat pinned him to the ground with ease.
"But I'll always win."
A yowl echoed through the empty house. Then silence.
Like? Or no like?
