Welcome to Strativa-A World of Wolves!

You blink,feeling hurt and confused.Who are you?Where are you?Why are you here?You yet again slip into feverish sleep.However-this time you see wolf with a silvery pelt,his muzzle grayed and flecked with white.Upon looking into his eyes,you see a deep ocean blue.Heartily,the wolf chuckles.
"Welcome!The name's SilverShine!This"-he indicates toward a completely black wolf-"Is NightShade.And this"-He this time indicates toward a completely white she-wolf-"Is Willow.We are the founders of the great packs,who now roam Strativa. Many creatures,whom we know not of,have been coming here,lost and confused.Now the packs have been taking them in,and teaching our ways to them.This has resulted in the packs expanding,causing more skirmishes along boarders.Many wolves are dying of little cause besides on thing-hunger and endless fighting."then all three disapeared,and you woke up.

Will you take the challenge-and try to help the packs?Or will you fall to the mayhem?

Revey pushed through a tangle of lichen in pursuit of a small Arctic Hare.The small,mottled white and brown creature was feasting on some new grass,a sign of the coming spring.With an energy born of desperation,she propelled herself six feet in a mighty bound,landing on the hare,sinking her razor sharp canines into the throat of the small creature.Blood trickled out of the puncture wound,staining her snowy white muzzle.A wave of relief filled her,and she resisted the tantalizing scent,drawing her instinct to devour the pitiful catch instead of share with the pack.

Dropping her catch momentarily,Revey let out a howl of joy,and sprang onto a rocky ledge above her,continuing her song of joy.She sang to the world in a voice of gold,and it echoed throughout the valley below.

[sunshine]

Moondancer pricked her ears as she heard the howl. She smiled before going back to sorting through her herbs.

[Rye]

Revey pranced down the hillside,heart racing.This was the first kill in a week or so,and she was the one who did it!She let loose another howl as she entered the pack's spring camp,and cried out,
"I caught food!"

[sunshine]

Moondancer snapped her head back and blinked in surprise. "Well done. Next time, though, please try not to wake the spirits when announcing that."

[Rye]

Revey was slightly caught off guard by Moondancer's remark,and felt slightly stung.The young she-wolf shut-up immediately,and walked away towards the center of camp,where she dropped her kill and set off to the makeshift den beneath a small pine sapling.

Bullrush padded through the clearing,his huge paws thudding the ground,kicking up bits of dirt.He had been awakened from a dream of white hares by a loud howl,and was famished.He saw Moondancer from across the clearing,and ran up to greet her.
"Hey,Moondancer!How's your day do far?"

[sunshine]

She looked up at Bullrush and smiled. "Good. How was yours?"

[Rye]

Bulrush gave a wolfish grin.And whispered,
"Wonderful,I'm going to try and catch the first bit of prey today,to...You know.Impress Revey."He leaned closer,and asked in an even softer voice,"You do think she likes me,don't you?I mean,she doesn't talk to me or anything,but she smiled at me last night!"

(OCC:FYI,Revey is completely oblivious to Bulrushes affections toward her.She simply sees him as a pack member who likes to impress other wolves.Her actions are somewhat emotionless around Bulrush,though she will smile or laugh at some of his antics.)

Revey sat in the den,thinking about her future.It was a strange thing to comprehend:who was she?Would she ever have pups?With who?Why was she brown AND white?These sort of questions swirled around her head as she thought,and soon she nodded off.
