Well,I personally love making jams and jellies, and I was just wondering,is there anyone else on the Writer's Club who enjoys making jams as well? Anyway, this can be a jam discussion thread.

Well, I've never made jam before. But I do like peanut butter and apricot jam sandwiches.

Yum,I love apricot jam. Making jam is time-consuming,but worthwhile if you do it right. It's a really fun experience, you should try it sometime.

It's fairly simple, the actual making the jam part. Normally you boil the fruit you are making into jam for a certain period of time, then add sugar, then let boil for another,like,45 minutes or until it's thick and glossy. But each recipe is different, and while the thing boils you have to juggle cleaning up the kitchen and sterilizing your jars.If you want I could find you a simple apricot jam recipe. The only problem is I live up north,so we don't have apricots that grow here, and I am stubborn and like to make jams out of stuff in my garden. Thus,I cannot test the recipe.

I wouldn't mind being sent some jam every now and then. it would be delicious, and I'd probably be bothered by everyone on campus to share some. NO! MY JAM!
